So, Just like my post yesterday where I talked about some things I find overrated, I thought I would give it a shot and make a post about Underrated stuff, because I think I have much more to say about Underrated stuff compared to Overrated stuff. 馃榾馃槏
Solarpunk
Solarpunk is a literary genre and art movement that envisions how the future might look if humanity succeeded in solving major contemporary challenges with an emphasis on sustainability, human impact on the environment, climate change, and pollution. It is a subgenre within science fiction, aligned with cyberpunk derivatives, and may borrow elements from utopian and fantasy genres. - Wiki
Basically, Solarpunk would be amazing for an ideal world in the future! In my opinion.
Saint Andrewism have a few videos on the topic of Solarpunk, if you are interested.
Climate Change
Its crazy to me how many time we will be warned by Scientist about the Climate and what to do, but not a lot of people are willing to do anything if THEY have to make an effort. They just want the politicians to do it all and then they yell at them if they make rules against the people. Just stupid x)
Circular economy
A circular economy (also referred to as circularity and CE)[2] is "a model of production and consumption, which involves sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials and products as long as possible".[3] A CE aims to tackle global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, waste, and pollution by emphasizing design based implementation of the three base principles of the model. The three principles required for the transformation to a circular economy are: eliminating waste and pollution, circulating products and materials, and the regeneration of nature. CE is defined in contradistinction to the traditional linear economy. - Wiki
How awesome wouldn't this be if it was combined with Solarpunk for the future!? :D I am so ready for a fully sustainable future without the level of Greed we have now!
Growing Vegetables at home or in communal area
This would be so awesome! Not only would people come together, but it would also be way more healthy for people! This can be done without
pesticides and other shitty stuff..
An alternative way could be to have a Container Farm or a Hydroponic Farm somewhere.
I mean, we have the technology we just don't want to prioritize health over money x)
As I wrote in the other post. Feel free to share your opinion, for or against doesn't matter :D I want to hear your voice!
