Time for another dosage of politeness. Remember to sprinkle with a smile :)
Ok, so the last two posts were about the lovely construction would you mind... (links below) Time for something different :)
This is basic politeness, and yet we forget about it and sound much too direct, and to some even impolite!
Of course when we speak in a natural pace and voice we would shorten I + would and say I'd
Also:
Would you like me to help you?
is much better than:
Do you want me to help you?
Again,
Would you like some tea?
sounds more professional than:
Do you want some tea?
Especially if we are talking about a business conversation!!
