Thanks for commenting and showing an interest, @kerrislravenhill. There was a guy that, did a good documentary, on Canada discontinuing the Canada, one cent. Early on, he showed a large Copper Penny, from the 1850s. He went on to say, one could get a hardy breakfast, for this large Penny. I guess it meant, ham & eggs, biscuits, coffee. But, it sounds like a Penny was real money.
