Yes, they iced down the sodas, back in the 1960s, too, trying to eke out another penny or second drink. Big name musical concerts were only $5 USD back in those days. But, Silver Money was not yet phased out. Fiat & clad coins were still floating around with the real Silver money. Most didn't have a clue of what was coming. But, times were great back then.
