Prices and Premiums, of Precious Metals, continue to go up. Less than a year ago, one could easily get five, even six Troy ounce Silver 0.999 Coins, for $100(USD). Now one is lucky to get three. Lately, I have been leaving the Local Coin Shop, either empty-handed or with buyers-remorse, because of the higher prices. It's not so much the fiat-dollar cost, its more about walking away with less Gold & Silver. This Bicentennial, 24 kt, Gold-plated, 480 grains, 0.999 Silver Ingot, quickly got my attention, though.
No doubt about it, gotta have it. I'm not sure if the toning is nature or not, but I don't really care. Kinda fairly priced at $32(USD).
Wow! It just occurred to me that the Bicentennial (two hundred years) was 45 years, ago. Some of you young Stackers will see the Tricentennial (three centuries). Thanks for looking.
