These Jamestown Commemorative US Silver Dollars are one of my favorites. As always, these beauties became available, at the neighborhood, Local Coin Shop, at well below their original, 2007, price, of BU $35(USD) & Proof $39.
They are in mint condition, but, did not come in their origin US Mint Box & COA. Interest in the Commemorate US Silver Dollars, seems to be waning, as their final mintage number, seem to be falling. Only about half the Maximum Mintage Number of 500,000 were minted, BU 81,034 & Proof 260,363 final mintage numbers. As One can see, the BUs are much rarer, than Proofs.
These Silver Dollars are minted off the same 90% planchet/blanks, that 90% Silver, US Morgan and Peace Silver Dollars were.
At today's price, of $23, I believe they are worth stacking. Some are more collectable than others. Inexpensive gifts.
