The Local Coin Shop has been closed for going on two weeks. What a drag.
I was digging around my desk drawer and came across several of these treasures, picked up a few months ago.
They came out of the junk box, as most of the other finds do. These Somali, African Wildlife Elephant Series, were minted in the German Bavarian Mint, for the Federal Republic of Somalia. They were improved to 0.9999 from 0.999 Pure Silver, in 2016. Thanks again, as always, for checking out the Treasures, in #silvergoldstackers.
