In my previous column (stop dataslurpers and time Pistons) I called for more action and less whining. If you believe that some tech companies have too much power, you'll have to at least explore the alternatives. So I added the action to the word and I made my digital courtship with Mark Zuckerberg.

Steemit forms a threat to Facebook? No, for the time being, it will attract an audience mainly of nerds and innovative publishers. But with more than 500,000 users I'm wondering how firmly the founders in their shoes. Because somewhere in 2018 will loverboy Zuckerberg on the sidewalk with a bunch of beautiful dollar bills in his hands.
