Mitsubishi A6M "Zero" is a long-range fighter aircraft operated by the Imperial Japanese Navy.
The Zero gained a legendary reputation as a dogfighter, achieving an outstanding kill ratio of 12 to 1.
Combination of new tactics, better equipment give Allied pilots equal terms.
Zero was outdated by 1944 with the emergence of American Mustang P-51.


At the time of the attack on Pearl Harbor, 521 Zeros were active across Imperial Japan.

As the war drew to an end zero was also adapted for use in kamikaze operations.

But as it was made of lightweight materials, sometimes they did not have the expected result.
