Hi everyone 馃憢鈽猴笍 I'll be sharing some of my scribbles from the past days. Actually most of it are flowers, because I told myself I want to create a certain theme of what to draw for this week. Well, I am not actually an artist, I just draw whenever I feel I need to pause a little and change my phase.
Some may also know that I am definitely a book reader instead of a book collector. I buy books which I really read other than displaying it (I am not saying being a book collector is not a good thing, if that satisfy you it's fine). Books collectors find fulfillment in buying and storing books without actually reading or finishing it but book readers like me prefer to own few books but read it all, then borrow or rent books not actually collect it. There are also people who are both reader and collector.
So what I am trying to say is that, I draw something on my books that I bought (for a cheap price since it's already a used one) and I already read it. Maybe some will be frustrated that I messed with the pages, but for me this is satisfying. Not because I love to destroy it but it feels I am incorporating the two things that give me comfort.
Let's start!
what a weird vase haha disproportionate 馃槀
This one's my favorite so far, I forgot the name of this flower but it's like a cotton so cute. I always enjoy drawing this.
I became a bit immersed with doodling so I end up filling both pages.
Is that a tulip? Hmm well it could be, a bit weird but that's tulip 馃尫 haha
This looks like a fireworks 馃巻 but that's a flower 馃槍
Last pair of flowers for my flower series. I remembered the cartoons Alice in Wonderland where she went to a place full of flowers and they're singing together. How I love that scene 馃槏
Well that's it for my flower series scribbles, am thinking what to draw next hehu.
Vic Reeves is the author of the book I am scribbling with, so I hope he's not mad I messed with his book haha. The book is entitled Me:Moir, I don't know much about Vic Reeves but since this book is about his life I kinda had an idea of him. He's a comedian so you'll expect that this book is light and fun to read馃挄
Thanks for stopping by!
