In this stunning post Tristan guides us through the forests of Briish Columbia in search of secret waterfalls and magneficent trees. These old giants have stood the test of time but still have to face the huge storms and mans' continuous destruction of natural habitats.

Exploring British Columbia's temperate rainforests and hunting down waterfalls, canyons and old growth trees is a big obsession of mine. There is no place I feel more at home at than in the forest. This is a collection of 5 images showcasing some of my favorite scenes and places, starting with some old growth trees!

What it takes to be a caver? If you are not claustrophobic and enjoy dark places, you might want to read about this activity. Plint shares her experience of exploring the caves of Belgium and connecting with fellow caving enthusiasts.

I think a lot of people assume that the underground world is just dark and scary, but it is an absolutely amazing place to see. There are formations that have formed over lots of time and pressure, amazing colors and shapes. And the idea that you might be one of the very few to see them makes it a lot more special.

Laura recently took on her long dream of creating illustrated books for children. While unable to travel as we used to, it's good to have some creative outlet like this. Make sure to follow the stories of littlepiggies to read about her and her little daughters book creations and self publishing endeavors.

For most of my adult life, I had wanted to create a children's book. It was always one of those dreams in the back of my mind that I had no idea how to accomplish. I had no connections in the publishing industry and had no idea how to submit a proposal to a publisher.

The Story Of "Grandma"

This is an incredible family story about the love of rockenroll and of one piece of equipment in particular - Gibson guitar, that was a family jewel responsible for many incredible memories. Until it got stolen. It's hard to deal with losing things dear to us, but sometimes we have to let go and simply enjoy the good times it brought.

Once again, the fearlessness and decisiveness of my grandmother paid out. The inspection at the border didn't find the guitar! Gibson successfully arrived in Yugoslavia a day before my father's birthday and stayed with him, until this year when she got stolen, together with other studio equipment. To him, that guitar represented a memory of his childhood and parents, which is probably why I can still see the sadness in his eyes, months after she got "kidnapped".
