This image takes me back to my childhood, when we used to go to the park as a family almost every Sunday, my father, mother and sister.
They were unforgettable moments that marked my existence and that I repeat with my children, but in another park since I don't live in the same city.
Due to our economic situation we didn't have bicycles but there was a man who rented them and the photo transported me, given the similarity of the place where he was, to those childhood years.
As a way of celebrating it, I am writing a poem with some of the sensations I felt while I was pedalling through the green park.
Cycling in the park,
the wind gently caressed my face,
I felt the freedom in every pedal stroke,
nature unfolded before me without purpose.
The sun was shining brightly high in the sky,
illuminating the path along which I rode,
the trees danced in the wind,
and the song of the birds cheered that sacred corner.
The scent of flowers intoxicated the air,
while the grass caressed my feet
in every corner of the park I discovered the magic,
of an adventure that never stops growing.
Those were unforgettable moments
in which we shared as a family
moments that I miss and will never come back
