Recently people have gone ape shit over this Trump and Kim meeting, but noone is asking some critical questions as far as I'm aware.
Something about the set up seemed incredibly odd in the chain of events that I'm putting money on a future headline and a future discovery... I hope I'm wrong.
Don't misunderstand me, I believe this Trump and Kim meeting will do everyone the world of good, this bullshit with North Korea needs to end but still, something gnaws at me.
Humanity today has a way of being forgetful, it wasn't long ago nuclear testing happened within the small country, and then...
The test site partially colapses, but no one today talks about it. All that fallout trapped beneath the earth, potentially leaking, earth quakes were being reported with frequency up to the time and after and then, a day(s) after the collapse...
This sets the ball in motion for the epic meeting between the North Koreans and the USA. Did it seem odd to anyone how Kim acted like a kid that did something terrible and then went to "make nice" with his parents preemptively? Proverbially of course. It did to me. The same way a child will cozy up to you after they've fucked up royally and wants to mitigate recourse ahead of discovery by the parents, this seemed to be the case, too odd an occurence.
Of course you could say "well the site collapsed, theres nowhere to test, might as well move on, why not talk peace?" or "but his country is in turmoil, they're poor and starving after the sanctions". That last one especially didn't really mean a whole lot, they continued on anyway even with all the civil strife that was mounting and it was mounting.
And yet, noone talks about what has been sealed beneath the earth. What worries me is what else is down there. Beneath the earth everywhere are underground rivers, what are the odds it has made it into there? What exactly is that zone like radiation wise? Personally I believe, despite these talks that something is festering that will be discovered in time, a Chernobyl level event of our generation, something so ghastly it will fuck everything up for the rest of us.
I want to be wrong, but time will tell with every day that passes. Please be wrong.
