Sorry to hear of Mr. Goose's demise, sounds like he definitely had a good run!

Geese truly can be fierce and fearless protectors. We used to live by a wide waterway and had several Emden geese. The Alpha male (who lived to be 12-13, best guess) would attack anything he felt didn't belong... even saw him attack the mail carrier's jeep, if he was parked too long!
