As you know by now, I'm a long term investor, so I'm just planning to ride with it!
I totally grok the deflationary nature of POLYCUB and xPOLYCUB in particular.
The only caveat/reservations I consider — and I borrow heavily from 30+ years in the collectibles industry — is that scarcity alone is not enough to drive demand (and hence, price) of an asset. It doesn't matter how scarce something is, if nobody's in the market for it... so it ultimately boils down to the marketing pitch of "what is on offer, here?" Specifically, how are the associated LPs more attractive/interesting than any other Defi platform's LPs?
Certainly, LeoFinance has a loyal community of HODLers with "Diamond Paws" but we have to start making bank on demand from outside the community. From time to time we say things like "CUB Defi is just a tiny drop in the Defi world!" which is fine and good, but how to move from being "a drop" to being "a glass full" to being "a bucket" and beyond?
Again, this is my long term thinking at work. How are we going to NOT be sitting here in 2027 saying "at some point people will appreciate the genius of PLOYCUB!"
And please don't misunderstand this to be a lack of faith! My job is to play Devil's Advocate... because somebody has to!
