A truism is just a statement which is an undoubted or self-evident truth. I got into collecting truisms several years ago because I had a manager that was always using them. Number one here was one of his favorites. So I'll list 5 today and if you have any you would like to add feel free to do so.
- Don't major on the minors
- Don't sweet the small stuff
- Don't trust anyone over 30
- Don't do the crime if you can't do the time
- Don't knock it until you have tried it
