Happenings at the Homestead

This picture is of last year at hay bailing time. But it is only a few weeks away and the hay guys will be back. The grass is getting taller and looks like the cows will have something to eat this winter. The cows belong to the guys that cut the hay which I give to them for keeping my pasture. cut. This time of year is a busy time in the garden. I have 25 tomato plants 4 sweet bell peppers, 4 hot peppers, some squash, 2 rows of strawberries, 3 grape vines and 65 blackberry vines. I'm picking strawberries every morning and the blackberries are starting to bloom.
