The canonical reference does help to indicate where the actual source is from for duplicated content. I did not know that Hive.blog uses it as I have been using Peakd all this while and I do not think Peakd make use of the canonical reference element.

In that case it do make a little more difference to post from LeoFinance.io. Thanks for highlighting this and I will keep that in mind the next time I post any finance related content. 😀
