Hi, happy to know another Singaporean on this platform.

The rise in local transmission is concerning.

However, I think most people missed out the fact that more than half of the positively tested cases are actually asymptomatic. This very much aligned with the findings from Diamond Princess (I wrote a post on this previously).

I have no concrete evidence here, but my guess is that herd immunity is building up without people noticing.

All these being said, I won't surprise if the government takes more drastic measures. But I think they will gradually step it up and will not just announce a sudden lockdown which is just going to cause more panic.
