Tajhat Zamindarbari
Tajhat zamindarbari is located in Rangpur district of Bangladesh. The zamindar house is 2.5 km south-east of Rangpur city. Maharaja Kumar Gopal Lal Roy built this zamindar house in the early twentieth century. It is reported that it takes about 10 years to build this palace. Maharaja Gopal Roy was a goldsmith in the profession. It is said that because of its captivating "Taj" or crown, the area is becoming known as Tajhat. Now the present zamindar and no successor of the zamindar survive. So now the landlord's house is used as a museum.
From 1984 to 1991, the landlord's house was used as the Rangpur High Court. In 1995, the Archeology Department of the Government of Bangladesh declared the Palace a protected architecture. In 2005, Rangpur removed the museum and brought it to the second floor.
There are several exhibition rooms on the marble staircase leading to the museum. There are terracotta works of the tenth and eleventh centuries. Here are some ancient manuscripts written in Sanskrit and Arabic. Rangpur Zamindarbari is the Mahabharata and Ramayana along with the Qur'an of the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. I wanted to take pictures But photography is prohibited inside the museum. I couldn't pick it up.
The palace is about 210 feet wide and three storeys high. Rangpur Tajhat zamindarbari is a little different from other zamindar houses. Because its stairs are made of marble. A total of 31 stairs are required to enter the landlord's home.
The white fountain in the evolution of the palace's beautiful fountain and its green design are a bit dirty, yet its beauty is understandable. The fountain is said to have been made exclusively for the queen.
There are huge places around this palace. Currently there is a flower garden There are also two large dighi. And there are big plants around the palace.
