Mimosa is the name of a group of about 390 species of shrubs.
Mimosa has bilateral leaves. Mimosa's leaves just touch. Under the influence of heat and in the evening the leaves are closed. Basically the effect of the Seismonastic Movement is that it leaves off. Flowers blossom in bulk. Currently Mimosa trees are spread all over the world.
Two species of Mimosa trees are found in Bangladesh. One is the green Mimosa tree. The green is usually seen. Another is the white Mimosa tree. This is usually not the case. However, the white Mimosa tree has many medicinal properties.
