Lionfish really are beautiful. Unfortunately it's an invasive species here at the Caribbean, so divers hunt them.

I've done a few things like volunteering at an animal hospital, yoga teacher training, lots of scuba diving :-) Visited Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba..but mainly Mexico.

Oh, I love Yal Ku lagoon too! So many fish there, and such a relaxed and lovely place :-)

We are very lucky around here. You are almost always guaranteed to see one while diving, and at Akumal Bay you can see them all year around while snorkelling. I'd love to go to the Philippines!
