Commonly named as Sambong in the Philippines, Blumea Balsamifera is a well-known herbal plant. It grows in the wild and also being cultivated by some for therapeutic benefits. It relieves panuhot, a body strain caused by the air that enters the body nerves and muscles that results to pain and discomfort. Usually, doctors wouldn't believe in it. That's why some people often pertains to folkloric medicines. In case you might want to try it. If you have access to sambong leaves, take some leaves (have it in odd number, it's a superstition), be sure to take the clean ones- free from insects. Heat some leaves on flame. Once it falls off, you just have to apply it directly to the affected area. Better to do it at night before bed, repeatedly until the pain goes away. It works for my father and so do you. =)
