We call it alugbating kahoy considering the water it carries same as the alugbati leaves that produces water when it's cooked. It looks like an ornamental plant because of its pink little flowers but it's actually a vegetable.
Nowadays, no one else is planting this anymore unlike the old times but to my surprise I saw this along the way, a lost one.
Looking back, our late grandmother used to cook this. She was very fond of vegetables that's why I got to know more vegetables than the usual.
