Later he was Introduced to Tamil Cinema in the Film Marina, later he acted with Dhanush in 3 and the first official hit for him is Varutha Padatha Valibar Sangam directed by Ponram. He joined his hands with Comedian Soori in the next films and their chemistry works well in their films. Maan Karate, Rajini Murugan, Velaikran make his position strong in his carrier.
His Latest film Seema Raja was released yesterday and running successfully with Mixed Reviews. As people expected more about the film and the film was a little low to satisfy their expectations. But the film has created a record for Mass opening, usually, Rajini, Ajith, and Vijay will have this grand opening but this time Seema Raja Siva Karthikeyan included in the list. This film has got a record-breaking opening by grossing close to Rs 10 crore. It means the movie has shattered the first-day record of Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam 2 and has become second biggest opener in 2018 after Rajinikanth's Kaala which grossed Rs 15.4 crore.

His First-day collection in Chennai was unbelievable, it crossed over 1 crore make some High hero films to stay back. Films like Bhairava, Vishwaroobam 2 and even Bahuballi 2 stands next to his film in the first-day collection. Released in over 525 screens in Tamil Nadu, Seema Raja was riding high on expectations and the pre-release talk was good. It reflected in the people's response to the advance booking of tickets. Unfortunately, as the exhibitors did not receive KDM (Key Delivery Message) on time, the shows were canceled.
Later the issue was solved, not only in Tamil Nadu Siva gets good responses from Bengaluru too. With a long weekend ahead, Seema Raja is expected to do well at the Tamil Nadu box office.
