As long as you can identify one from the other, then it would qualify. Let's take the example of the limited series of 200. Each of those would tend to be numbered, so if you got say #31, the fact that it's numbered, and you own #31, makes it unique enough to distinguish that one from the others.
I like the example of guitars for this. Gibson may make 30 of one special edition guitar, but each has a unique serial number and characteristics, so it's "the same" as the others in the run, but unique enough that you could find yours amongst the others.
