I am simply trying to have fun with the game and build up my WEED farm empire. For the past day or so the taxes have been crippling at over 100%. This is ridiculous.
This is not the game's fault s the President chooses taxes but this is ridiculous. There should be an upper limit on taxes. No one person should have the power to take everyone's ENTIRE income away. 60% was bad but workable (temporary) but shit like this makes me not want to play. I am not the only one who feels this way.
The thing that angers me the most is that those with limited resources are hit the hardest. Law offices and MICs are relatively expensive and these things will help reduce taxes but only for those lucky enough to be able to afford them can benefit., That benefit is not much when the taxes are this high unless you have multiple MICs .You can't earn enough SIM to save up and pay for these things now either (which was my plan)when your earning rate is 0.
Luckily my WEED earnings are not effected but still. I need the SIM to grow my city.
I am taking a break. It's not worth me putting in resources right now. If this keeps up, I'll likely stop playing and put my precious earnings into other things.
Anyhoo, I'm gonna smoke some herb and be grateful I didn't spend any out of pocket money to play this game. I'm earning passive WEED everyday and am happy with that aspect.
