It is October, and it's time to wake up my altcoin from the staking account to do some jumps!

Can I trade this particular altcoin for better gains than if it is left in the staking pool?

If I have 100 of this altcoin, and the staking reward is 10%. If I stake it for a year, I will have 110 of this token.

Since we are in the last quarter and a bull run is expected, the risk/reward ratio now sways the decision towards trading.

If I can sell it when its price spikes, and buy back lower at the correction, I could get more than the 100 tokens I now have. This beats staking.

Of course, the risk is if it goes drastically higher then I am actually losing my token count. The wait might be long for me to reenter to get lower. This will be the downside.

To sweeten the deal, trading this altcoin for bitcoin might be a better decision. Since I can treat it as taking profits and saving in bitcoin.

This is not financial advice. Just thinking aloud.
