After my last post, I felt even more motivated to grow my Hive account! I need more traffic to my posts!

Therefore, I set up a Twitter account in hope of getting more reach to my Hive activities.

It is important to use a similar avatar in my opinion, thus I stay consistent with the name and image that appears on my Hive account.

This account has 0 Following and 0 Follower as of now. But that will change, hopefully by the time you read this! If not go to my Twitter page and follow me there, and make a difference! :)

The main thing is to integrate Hive with Twitter such that this Twitter account is linked to the Poshtoken or the poshbot on Hive.

The effect is that the bot will post a comment that looks like the following. Apparently, the account posting the Tweet will be credited for rewards earned. This could incentivize me to promote others' posts on Twitter too!

I haven't fully understood what benefit it will bring to me, but at least it tells others that such integration is possible, and would help bring new Twitter users into Hive. I am game for this.

Let me take you through the process, in case you wanted to do this as well. Some posts that are available are kind of obsolete, so hopefully, this documentation can be of use.

First, go to https://hiveposh.com/, which is managed by poshtoken@poshtoken. More recent info here, if you need: @acidyo/dollarposh. Also this: @poshtoken.

https://hiveposh.com/ will lead you to their page which looks like the following. The blue button is pretty inviting, I must agree.

After clicking it, I was prompted to authorize my Twitter account, so Twitter had to be opened in another tab for it to detect (I think).

Next, I keyed in cryptothesis as this is my Hive account name for integration with that new Twitter account.

After hitting authorization, the usual stuff will occur. You might have to set up a Hivesigner or access it if that is your thing.

Then the integration is considered done.

The last step is to get to the Twitter site to write and post the tweet.

Remember to include the link to the post on Hive!

Important! Do take note that the #hive or $hive wordings must be included for the bot to pick it up.

Once you post it, it will automatically post a comment on the original Hive post.

And of course, if you are not a new Twitter user, you would know how to use hashtags such as #bitcoin or #blockchain to reach out to more people on Twitter.

My next step is to link up with others who have done so on Twitter, so that we can connect there as well. If you have not done, so, why not try it?!

See you there!
