The UK got hit by "Beast from the East 2" yesterday which sounds impressive but compared to most countries that deal with snow on a regular basis it probably looks pretty pathetic.
This is enough snow to bring the UK to its knees
But we're not used to it, and apparently neither is Domino, who spent the entire day inside today for the first time that I've ever known of.
She sat at her regular exit (the rear window) but refused to leave, just choosing to sit and watch the strange white stuff fall from the sky.
When I opened the window to see if she had plucked up the courage to go out, some snow landed on her head and I swear she gave me a death glare as if it was my fault.
You'll pay for this, human
The lack of exercise for today quickly turned into the zoomies, about 5 minutes of running up and down the stairs and laps of the living room. I don't know why but the sound of cats clawing for traction on hard wood floor makes me laugh so much. It's like cartoons running on the spot before they disappear in a cloud of dust.
How's this for a pose?!
The zoomies ended but the lack of adventure caused some weirder than usual behaviour. I found her laying in places like doorways and finally just sitting infront of our (switched off) electric fire. I have no idea why she stood on it, but it was an amazing photo opportunity.
Hopefully tomorrow she'll pluck up the courage to go exploring.
