Something that can't be quantified by charts is the game actually being any good.
I was a teenager during the years of dial-up so grew up playing browser games. P2E games aren't anywhere near the quality of games from 2005 such as Black Nova or Tribal Wars.
The first game to actually be "fun" is going to change whichever platform it releases on.
