What is sentinel chain
Sentinel Chain’s objective is to bring funding and financial services to the unbanked. For instance farmers and businesses in developing countries lack the resources to get funding. Sentinel chain, wishes to turn innate capital into fungible capital. As an example, it is difficult to put a value on livestock and banks are reluctant to finance farmers with their livestock as collateral. Sentinel chain wishes to tokenize infungible assets such as livestock, so farmers and bankers can keep track and verify ownership of these assets and use them as collateral. 8/10
Team & Advisors
The team members and advisors can be found on sentinel chain’s website and all have links to their linkedin profiles. The team consists of 14 members, and based on their previous experience I would consider the core team to be strong and capable of succeeding with this project. Also the advisors are strong and includes Bo Shen form Fenbushi capital (Which is an influencial investment company, backing a couple of great ICO projects). 8.5/10
Tokenmetrics

- Hard cap: $14.4 million ($6.4 million raised in presale)
- Tokens sold to public: 40% of total token supply
- Bonus structure: 25% bonus for presale / 25% of presale tokens will be released at same time as ICO, remaining is -
released in equal 25% portions over the next 3 months - Countries excluded: United States, China
- Token distribution date: 3 days before they are listed on exchanges
Overall the tokenmetrics are decent. The only thing I do not like is that they have chosen to do proof of care in order to get free hype build buy the community. On the one hand this is a smart move; however, earlier projects that adopted proof of care. Have gained a bad reputation (e.g. Gems and experty). I do like the relative low hard cap and I am positive that this ICO will be sold out during the crowd sale. 8/10
Hype & FUD (Fear Uncertainty & Doubt)
Their is quite some buzz around this project. Their telegram group has over 10k users. Also the telegram groups is quite active, so it does appear that those members are real and not just bots. In addition this ICO is rated pretty high by some of the leading influencers in the crypto-space.
Although there is some hyper around the project their is also a bit of FUD. Originally the KYC was planned on feb-5–2018, but due to a hack, some of the KYC information was compromised, which is a pretty big security breach and makes be a bit cautious about the project. In their defense I think that they have handled the matter rather professional. 7.5/10
Roadmap
Some Key date from the roadmap are:
Q2 2018: Sentinel Chain beta testing
Q4 2018: CrossPay launches in the first unbanked market
Q1 2019: Sentinel Chain code review and audit; Sentinel Chain v1.0 release
Q2 2019: Integration of Sentinel Chain to CrossPay; Integration of financial service provider to Sentinel Chain.
Seeing that the Sentinal Chain V1.0 will be released at Q1 2019, which is a year away from now, (and a lightyear in crypto-space) makes this a long term project. 7.5/10
Overall rating 8/10
As always please do your own due dillgence. this is just my opinion and certainly not financial advice. I feel that this project has the potential to succeed; however, bear in mind that this can be a long hold, since the release of version 1 is a year away (or later when the project gets delayed).
