I started writing this post in reply to Hive account@ecoinstant's contest in which he's giving away a Diesel Pool...

_{Not sure if it will be empty (ie. only the creation fee) or with something in it (probably the former). But I may as well take a chunk of my time for the purpose, since I wanted to start blogging a bit more anyway about all the work we do (otherwise how will you all ever know? Most Hiveians are not on Twitter! 🙈).}

Then I also realized that...

Well, OUR GAME HAS BEEN LIVE for a full year now! _{_{1 year and 3 days ⏲️}}

Our players have been able to put our NFTs to use since our Alpha launch on February 15th 2022.
For a full year now they have been able to earn our tokens for shooting down enemies in the game. How cool is that? 😎

True, we initially launched on Wax, but from the very first month we also started giving away free Hive accounts and storing data in Hive for our Discord shooting game ( October 2021 ).

Then in May '22 we integrated our 1st Hive NFT in the game and on August 1st '22 more Hive NFTs were launched and integrated in the game. Starting from there our $DOOM token was awarded to Hive players.

Below I'm going to reply to some of the points in Hive account@ecoinstant post and explain why I believe that getting a DOOM:SWAP.HIVE ~~cake 🎂~~ pool for Crypto Shots would be a good idea.

THE TRIANGLE

It forms a triangle between the previously existing Swap.HIVE pool and the massive SWAP.ETH:SWAP.HIVE pool. This allows robots to arbitrage all trades and not only help keep the price more stable, but also generate fees for liquidity pool providers.

In reply to that...

1. We do happen to have a SWAP.HIVE pool (created for us by https://blockchaingaming.com)

..and..

2. There are bots trading our pool (generating fees for liquidity providers)

OMNI-CHAIN AMBITIONS

Ours are not ambitions. The game is already cross-chain and battle tested.
You can link a Hive account to a Wax account and vice-versa by simply signing 2 transactions to prove ownership (one-off process). The gaming assets (NFTs) that you hold on both chains end up in your inventory and you can use them in the game.

An integration with the ETH blockchain as well was always in our plans. It's already in a few places in our UI since we intend to integrate it in Q3 this year.

ARBITRAGE

We are cross-chain and we also have our own bridge that allows players to swap our token from Wax to Hive and vice-versa.

That presents arbitrage opportunities,

Our pool is linked to our Karina ChatGPT Tipping Bot. So as it spreads more into Hive / Wax / Gaming Discord servers, more and more users will stake into our pools to unlock its growing features.

NEW FEATURE FOR THE NEW SWAP.ETH POOL

How we would incentivize users to stake their tokens into the new pool:

The idea is that the top 30 stakers everyday will get their most recent
active post automatically promoted by us.

HOW:

Every time Karina drops a tip in any partner server (20+), it will also include at the bottom a small preview of the last post of the picked staker: title, author, pending payout.

Note: this could get non-Hive servers
interested in blogging in Hive too!

Post preview to players of our Discord game.
We have 1200+ users registered to our minigame (gives an additional use to our NFTs). Every time a user that has linked a Hive account shoots, they could get the small preview of the promoted posts added to the bot reply (or right below).

...and/or...

Similar post promotion in our #teknopolly channel. A funny bot lives in there; it's mostly rude and posts gifs, music or tells bad jokes. Once in a while though it drops some Ammo NFTs for the game.

DIVERSIFICATION & TARGET AUDIENCE

Mobile

We target a much broader audience than other projects you have a stake in.

Unlike Desktop games that require a 50/200 GB download, a beefy machine and a fast connection, our game can be played in PVE mode in any browser on any medium-low range device.

The game download size is only 70 MEGABYTES, and it's cached so that the next time you visit our website, it will load instantly.

Thanks to our strategic choice to be a browser game, it's relatively easy for us to expand to the mobile market and even be playable in VR (Oculus browser, Firefox, etc).

HOW WE SUPPORT HIVE-ENGINE

Our ChatGPT TIPPING BOT is now tipping HIVE and HIVE-ENGINE tokens in more than 20 servers! It adds use cases to our token and to all partners' tokens, ergo sustaining the Hive gaming ecosystem.

Did I mention that besides being a Hive Witness, we run a Hive-Engine node too? 😎

We are the 1st Play-To-Earn FPS ever live
on Hive (and on Wax).

We are not backed by VCs, we are self-funded.

Blockchaingaming.com (GameFi accelerator / fund) put up a total of about $ 110 K in buy orders on Wax and created our SWAP.HIVE pool. Besides that, we keep building using funds from previous sales (burned long ago) and personal funds.

The team mostly runs on voluntary effort, as we all believe in the medium/long term success of the Crypto Shots project.
