In the last week I had to start again almost from the beginning with my galaxyviewer, because with my first approach I have always reached limits at which it did not go on. Either I found bugs in the game engine, or the functionality I need is not implemented yet. This clearly shows that Armory3D is still in an early stage of development.
But now I have a new version, which corresponds in approximately the old conditions.

The following points have changed:
- the planet positions are determined by API at startup
- Planet names are displayed
- greater visibility range
- Regions are colored
- explored planets are displayed larger
- the coordinate system and the random z-position are not included in this version yet
In der letzen Woche musste ich bei meinem galaxyviewer wieder fast von vorne beginnen, da ich mit meinem ersten Ansatz immer wieder an Grenzen gestoßen bin, an denen es nicht weiter ging. Entweder ich bin auf Fehler in der Game Engine gestoßen, oder die Funktioinalitäten welche ich benötige sind dort noch nicht implementiert. Da merkt man deutlich das sich Armory3D noch in einem frühen Entwicklungsstadium befindet.
Doch nun habe ich eine neue Version, die in etwa dem alten Stand entspricht.

Die folgenden Punkte haben sich geändert:
- die Planetenpositionen werden beim Start mittels API ermittelt
- Planetennamen werden angezeigt
- größere Sichtweite
- Regionen werden eingefärbt
- erkundete Planeten werden größer dargestellt
- das Koordinatensystem und die zufällige z-Position sind in dieser Version noch nicht enthalten
