The Tour de France is underway. To mark the occasion, I'm sharing these photos of the monument 'Le Tour de France dans les Pyrénées', dedicated to the world's most emblematic cycling event.
Located in Ger (Pyrénées Atlantiques), on the French A64 motorway, it was inaugurated on 11 June 1996. A tribute to the efforts of cyclists in tough mountain races.
It is a huge and spectacular sculpture, 18 metres wide and 30 metres high, designed by the French sculptor Jean-Bernard Métais.

Neste trabalho usei a película Ilford HP5 Plus e revelei com Microphen.
Para esta publicação, digitalizei os negativos com o CanoScan 9000F Mark II. No Photoshop coloquei as fotografias nestas molduras digitais. (Já um hábito).
