What a relevant post!

The metrics it presents certainly deserve to be analyzed and discussed by the witnesses, and to change the extremely dangerous status quo that has taken hold.

Let’s just say we’re on the same wavelength, costanza@costanza. Lately, I’ve been diving deep into the KE topic. I’ve been channeling my impatience into my marketing project called KE Fest. Many users complain—and rightly so—that HIVE doesn’t have a good marketing plan. So, let’s embrace irreverence and good humor.

KE Fest is a virtual marketing campaign in which, in every city where there are HIVERS, a billboard will be installed promoting users with two- and three-digit KE scores who are constantly voted on by curation groups and stakeholders.

If you notice, many of the members of the curation groups also have high KE scores. In other words, they’re reaping the benefits. It’s legitimate. It’s theirs, and so I understand that they’re paid to perform this curation service. So, if they’re paid to curate, they need to be even more careful about where they cast their votes. Ignoring users with a KE below zero who buy HIVE and constantly voting for users with high KE doesn’t seem like the best strategy to me.
