Well, from who I see, there are two types of users on HIVE:

  1. Those who create content and are buying HIVE as a form of future investment.

  2. Those who only create content.

For the first group, they will hardly sell for less than they bought it for.

For the second group, any $0.01 is profit, and in times of difficulty, they sell (sometimes the difficulty is being consumed by fear).

Now, lately I've been reading about users who have been around since 2020 (some even before) and are filled with pride stating that they are never at a loss because they have never bought HIVE. What they have is the result of the rewards of their work and commitment to the network.

If for the first group of users, those who buy HIVE, there is a restraint in not selling for less than they bought it for, for the second group it is not like that. They sell because they are never at a loss.

Added to this factor are two types of users: those who vote blindly without analyzing the KE (Key Efficiency). And there are many, from curation groups to users with responsibilities (many are community moderators). This equation was created precisely to analyze each case, as it's unique. I'm not saying they shouldn't vote for users with high KE, but the reasoning should be understood. However, what we see in most cases is contributions to extractors.

Finally, without being sure of what I'm talking about, especially since my account is about 2 years old and I didn't belong to Steem. But, don't you find Steem's recent growth strange? My question is: isn't HIVE being sold to buy Steem? It's just a question!
