Ruff Chain - OS for high efficiency of IoT

Crypto market cap is below 200 billion USD today. Which is creating panic among the investors. Time to time few people/so called experts saying crypto have no future and all. But I have trust in crypto and I believe, it is the future. And I think this recent crypto market crash is an opportunity to invest in some good tokens. But in which project we should invest? How do we know which project is good or which project is not?
Well I will be investing in the project after checking following points -

There are few projects which are close to its completion, ready to go-live. But one project which I am consistently following since past few months and the name is Ruff Chain. Why I like this project is because they are focusing on the most popular field and that is the Internet of Thing. Internet of Thing (IoT) is everywhere now, and I doubt, anyone who is using the internet on regular basis but not heard about IoT. So, I am not going to tell what IoT is, but I would like to mention one interesting fact about IoT and that is, there will be 8.4 billion connected things in 2017, setting the stage for 20.4 billion Internet of Things (IoT) devices to be deployed by 2020, according to analyst firm Gartner. World’s population is 7 Billion, but number of IoT devices will be close to 4 times than the population. This means every human will be using an average 4 IoT devices.
So, what exactly Ruff is going to do in this IoT field? Even though, IoT devices are being used since couple of decades there is no standard of communication is in place, and it makes communication of two different IOT devices difficult. Ruff decided to develop and OS for IoT devices, to setup a standard for communication between IoT devices. Ruff OS also have security features which protects IoT devices from hacking, data leaking and so on. Ruff Chain is decentralized open source blockchain architecture for high efficiency of IoT application development. Ruff combines the Internet of Things technology with the blockchain. It contains a distributed operating system and an open main chain, connecting peer to peer network and consensus mechanism from the virtual world to reality.

Status of the project – Ruff was founded in 2014 with edge computing at its core and the goal of replacing original embedded operating systems. Ruff’s community has already grown to encompass the work of tens of thousands of developers and is the industry's most prevalent IoT operating system. Now, Ruff is very close to launching Alpha release with P2P transfer and ledger implementation. To make app development easy, Ruff team have released series of videos on Ruff Chain’s YouTube channel, which is a step by step guide for developers. This video series will be a complete guide, and it will help in developing IoT applications on Ruff OS. The Ruff development system includes the Ruff OS, Ruff SDK which is installed on a host PC and contains all the Ruff development-related tools, Rap Registry which is a Cloud management platform for software packages, as well as Ruff Development Kit consists of a Ruff Development Board (ruff-mbd-v1) and several peripherals to help you get started. Team – Any project success is depending on the team’s experience. Roy Li, founder of Ruff Chain project needs to introduction. He is security expert and is working in the field of IoT since long time. He even Received Award for “The Most Influential CEO in Blockchain for 2018”. Roy Li is also a senior instructor at Fudan University. As former technical director for Nokia (North America) he was responsible for OVI development and Symbian operating system research and development. He has offered security consulting services for security companies such as Symantec and VeriSign. He has also advised TNB, RealChain, and AIDOC.
Alex Goh is an advisor as well as an investor of Ruff. He was Leo Cloud Senior Vice President and has Ten years of experience working with HP & Dell.
