Day at the Chinese doctors office. My daughter returned to Taiwan a few weeks ago. In the US, she occasionally visits the Chinese doctor, but all doctors in the US are expensive and alternative medicine isn’t covered on their policies.

So returning to Taiwan was the perfect opportunity to see the Chinese doctor since the insurance is National and alternative medicine is usually covered as long as the clinic complies with other government regulations. Of course, sometimes the clinics that don’t follow the regulations are excellent as well. But even then, a doctors visit seldom goes over $16 USD (without insurance)!

Anyway, my daughter was having allergies and she wanted acupuncture. So here we are.

First, the doctor checked the pulse with his fingers and informs my daughter that part of her problem is from the Covid vaccine that was required for her work in Oregon.

**off the topic but worth mentioning- western doctors here are fiercely pro vaccine while Chinese doctors are the opposite and offer natural protection. But this is a whole different article.

The doctor explains that first he wants to repair the damage from the vaccine and then treat the allergies. The first needle above is quite deep and another goes on the other side.

Then she gets two more around her Achilles heel.

After eight minutes the needles come out. He checks her pulse again. He said it would take four weeks to repair the damage for the vaccines, but her allergies will be under control. He also prescribed herbal medication for five days.
