Last week we stopped at Stonehenge near Biggs Junction. This amazing structure was made as a memorial for World War One memorial.
Unlike the original Stone Henge, this one has the top going around.
Here’s my youngest sitting on one of the stones.
This is an example of the WWI memorial aspect of the monument.
As with the original one, this one is also set up with astronomical significance.
Finally, this is located on the Washington side of the Columbia River, adding to the beautiful scenery.
