Sweet potatoes likes a lot of water and sunshine @solominer and they will really produce big spuds. :D
Their greens are so delicious blanched and either incorporated in some vegetable dishes and eaten with rice or just blanched, dipped into some fish sauce, or shrimp paste, or vinegar with soy sauce and again...eaten with rice ;P
