I am a bit happy with my curation rewards and before I wasn't paying attention to curation but my content creation efforts only because I am happy and enjoying it. It is my therapy to write and distracts my mind plus due to the fact that I also get rewards from it really gives me a kind of satisfaction because indeed it means my life and my well-being.
But lately I was curating and due to the lesser time window penalty where you would compete with others to curate before the bigger upvotes comes in, I had seen that based on the numbers it really shows that I am benefiting from the recent changes in the share of author/curators rewards.

The curation rewards is 100% ours to keep and it goes to our steem power and it just makes us more powerful each day based on our stake. If the steem price could go up as high as $1 dollar at least, then we could see that our curation efforts particularly mine would pay off.
So it is better to have more steem power because obviously you could earn more as the author/curator reward split is now 50/50 plus that time window penalty is also reduced so you wouldn't have to wait for very long inorder to upvote a post to receive the best curation rewards for you.

Right now is just a time to collect steem and or power it up #spud because steem right now is an undervalued digital asset and will pay us up when it starts to come up again because it has a lot to offer like a quick block time plus it has a lot of use cases undoubtedly and also a good future/potential to grow some more since we have talented devs like 
Case and point it is just wise to invest in steem and it will not go out anytime soon because of many good news that is happening for the blockchain.
