You don't need to directly link the images as long as you source where they are from and that you do not own them or they are in game screenshots. Also keep in mind if images are edited (manually) to become significantly different than the source material (ie a thumbnail etc.) most of that falls in the purview of "the fair use doctrine" so it does not need to be explicitly stated.
