Aquel día, pudo ser un día cualquiera, pero algo me detuvo frente a la Casa de la Cultura Gregorio Castellano, del municipio Bartolomé Masó en Granma, Cuba, lugar donde actualmente vivo.

Esta institución cultural es el espacio apropiado para la convergencia de las distintas manifestaciones artísticas, aquí se dan cita, el canto, la danza, la poesía y las artes plásticas, entre otras manifestaciones culturales.

Al adentrarme en el local, como tantas veces lo he hecho, iba ansioso de ver qué nuevos rasgos de las tradiciones y las enseñanzas de esta cátedra podía encontrar, fue así que en mí caminar encontré en las paredes de la institución, la muestra del mes.

Una serie de dibujos con técnicas mixtas, que mezclan las luces, sombras y colores para crear la exposición personal Mundo Cromático, de la artista Leosdalis Gamboa, mujer masoense, que disfruta de la creación en la rama de las artes plásticas.

A simple vista se ve una mujer inteligente, sencilla y con ganas de compartir sus creaciones, esas que muchas veces están limitadas por la escasez de recursos para llevarlo a cabo, la cultura tampoco escapa de los problemas económicos de mi país.

Así de simple, una exposición enmarcada, sin mucha tecnología, con los recursos que tiene a mano, pero que no ensombrece el valor de su arte, porque tiene muchas más razones para ser feliz que de estar triste.

Sirva este pequeño relato como homenaje a la mujer cubana, a las mujeres del mundo que cada día se enfrentan a los problemas, a las dificultades y aún en situaciones complejas, saben entregar un pedazo de sí, dando lo mejor por los demás y demostrando, que siempre que haya una mujer, habrá esperanzas para salvar la humanidad.

That day, it could have been any other day, but something stopped me in front of the Casa de la Cultura Gregorio Castellano, in the municipality of Bartolomé Masó in Granma, Cuba, the place where I currently live.

This cultural institution is the appropriate space for the convergence of different artistic manifestations, where singing, dancing, poetry and plastic arts, among other cultural manifestations, come together.

As I entered the place, as I have done so many times before, I was anxious to see what new features of the traditions and teachings of this chair I could find, so it was that in my walk I found on the walls of the institution, the sample of the month.

A series of drawings with mixed techniques, mixing lights, shadows and colors to create the personal exhibition Chromatic World, by the artist Leosdalis Gamboa, a Masoan woman, who enjoys creating in the field of plastic arts.

At first glance you can see an intelligent woman, simple and eager to share her creations, those that are often limited by the scarcity of resources to carry it out, culture does not escape the economic problems of my country.

So simple, a framed exhibition, without much technology, with the resources at hand, but that does not overshadow the value of his art, because he has many more reasons to be happy than to be sad.

Let this little story serve as a tribute to the Cuban woman, to the women of the world who every day face problems, difficulties and even in complex situations, know how to give a piece of themselves, giving the best for others and demonstrating that as long as there is a woman, there will be hope to save humanity.
