26 New Buildings that increase your city's points for education and creativity
Education
Your city is now going to require points in education which help to increasing your chances of unlocking a technology card. Technology cards seem to be game changers and some cards will earn the holder's of the card yield a significant amount additional sim if they have a lot of cards that get the tech cards bonus.
Many players seem to be focused on increasing their city's education in hopes to unlock the current extremely rare tech cards early!
Tech Cards
Tech cards are awarded once per day at random to all active player with the technology unlocked... keep in mind that just because you unlock the tech card does not mean you own it, it means that you have a chance to win it and that chance is increased by the education of your city.
Since the chances of getting a tech card are low and dependent on having a lot of education, I expect these cards to be ber especially valuable for the next couple months as long as they remain very difficult to win. This will be especially the case for the highest tier tech cards, since the odds of getting the higher tier cards are much lower. I think there will likely be an equal amount of players who hold tech cards but some looking at a selling opportunity to take advantage of something so rare that may have pent up demand looming among the dCity whales!.
Hardly any of the the tech cards have been mined yet, in the 1st day 2 were awarded and 4 cards were awarded in the 2nd day, of those 1 of the cards awarded were above the 1st tier and that was in the 2nd tier. If the low output of tech cards being issued continues, I expect to see tech cards above the first tier to either be held by the account holder or offered for high ask prices in the first 30 days when new cards become first available.
Only time will tell how the dCity players will react to the newly available and these tech cards will introduce a interesting card for the players watching the order books!
The Brewmaster of dCity
Wouldn't ya know, I was lucky enough to win the first tier 2 tech card ever issued on day 1! This has since earned me the self proclaimed title as being dCiyt's first Brewmaster! If you don't think I deserve the title, then check the stat's yourself! My Brewery tech card is making my 34 breweries total mine about 14 Beer per day, while the runner up is bringing in less than only 2 Beer!
