Why do people - including yourself, try not to say Steem or Steemit? - I've long been curious about that...

I posted a Tim Copeland article about it a few months ago that pretty much sums it up, and I think the answer to your question is that no-one wants to give any exposure at all to the bad actors responsible and everyone just wants to let them rot. STEEM now represents everything that crypto shouldn't be, and the further away we can get from them, the better. (Just my interpretation and only really speaking for myself.)
