HIVE the cryptocurrency is the foundation on which everything else is built, in my opinion. Even if the blogging capabilities were limited strictly to governance, the technical and actual use as a distributed ledger whose specified units could be easily and cheaply transferred, it would be just as solid and secure of a cryptocurrency as Cardano, or Litecoin, or Bitcoin, for that matter.

Beyond that, it's all gravy! And that's what make HIVE a true standout in my opinion.
