Exactly the same as Bitcoin's, as described here.

Both are UTXO crypto, and both are designed for the same purpose and use, but DGB is 40 times faster, even safer than BTC, and much cheaper to use. With a 1000:1 ratio to BTC, I think it will become the little guy's everyday cryptocurrency.
