I've dealt with a lot of exchanges, and Bittrex has always served me well, perhaps the best. I didn't mind their implementation of KYC. For me it was just one more thing that made them more legit. I've never seen shady stuff there, etc., etc. I fully recommend them and really go elsewhere only when I have to (like when something's not listed there). Really wasn't all that much. Selfie, photo ID, and that was it I think ... maybe my phone number.
