I've seen the suggestion of vote decay times where old votes cast by currently inactive users would automatically fall off. That would be great. More witnesses too. Just to mention a couple of things.

But, yeah, like you said, HIVE in itself is a symbol of decentralization ... but does the rest of the world see it that way?
